I was fortunate to be joined by an outstanding group of musicians for my performance on Winchester Community Music School’s 2014-2015 Faculty Recital Series. We performed a range of music, from traditional Balkan dance music to jazz standards, songs from John Zorn’s Masada songbook, and original compositions by myself, Tev Stevig, and Cory Pesaturo. In particular, it was fantastic to perform two selections from Tev’s Jeni Jol project – one of his own compositions, and a Macedonian dance song. With Dave Bryant, piano, Tev Stevig, guitar, Brad Barrett, bass, and Brian O’Neill, drums and percussion.
